HEAVY STEEL

Structural integrity inspection for earthmoving and mining equipment operating across China's most demanding extraction sites. Every weld, every load path, every fatigue point is measured against a standard that exceeds national code. Trueman field engineers deploy ultrasonic, magnetic-particle, and phased-array testing to certify excavators, haul trucks, draglines, and continuous miners before they go back into the pit. A single missed crack at 200 tonnes operating load is not an incident waiting to happen - it is a failure of process.

Capabilities
  • Weld quality verification
  • Load-bearing certification
  • Fatigue life assessment
  • Corrosion mapping

THE LONGEVITY LAB

Research division dedicated to extending the operational life of heavy industrial assets. The Lab combines field data from hundreds of inspections with metallurgical analysis to build predictive models of wear, corrosion, and micro-fracture propagation. Output is not a paper - it is a maintenance protocol that buys a mine years of additional service from its fleet. Every finding feeds back into the inspection methodology, creating a closed loop between diagnosis and design.

12.7avg. years life extension
98.3inspection accuracy rate

THE INDIE COMPILER

Independent compiler engineering and programming language tooling built for specialized industrial and embedded domains. The Indie Compiler project develops custom front-end parsers, intermediate representations, and code generation back-ends that translate domain-specific inspection logic into reliable, verifiable machine code. No LLVM abstraction layer - direct register allocation, hand-rolled instruction selection, and exhaustive control-flow analysis. The compiler is not a product; it is a methodology for producing software that matches the rigor of structural steel certification.

BAUHAUS HOROLOGY

Precision timekeeping as a design discipline. Bauhaus Horology studies the intersection of mechanical chronometry and industrial modernism - where every gear, spring, and escapement answers to the same maxim that governs Trueman's inspection philosophy: form follows function. A clock that loses a second per day and a weld that holds at 300 MPa are expressions of the same principle: measured precision is the only honest relationship between an engineer and the material world.

No decoration. No surplus. Just the mechanism.

THE GERMAN STRUGGLE

The engineer's permanent dialectic: the pursuit of absolute precision against the constraints of cost, time, and material. The German Struggle names this tension not as a limitation but as the engine of all rigorous work. Every inspection Trueman performs holds two truths at once: the design ideal of infinite service life and the economic reality of scheduled maintenance. The compromise is not defeat - it is the decision, made deliberately, about where to place the line between what is possible and what is necessary.

"The line between what is possible and what is necessary is the only line worth drawing."
